Bruges, Flanders Fields and Paris

We arrived in Paris today and from the looks of it, Paris is beautiful. We are off to try and go to The Louvre!

Yesterday we went on a tour of Flanders Fields in Belgium and it was very informative and very touching. We seen Hill 60, a wellknown battlefield in WWI as well as trenches preserved in an archeological digging site.

Well we are off to tour around Paris and then off to Austria for the weekend!

Ding a ling a ling- Greetings from Amsterdam!

We arrived yesterday after a short flight and a long train ride, it would of been quicker if we would of gotten on the right train. We visited the Red Light District, which you need to see to believe!

Amsterdam is nice, but a bit dirty. We have also come to the realization that we appreciate personal space (our bubbles), after staying in our hostel where there are 20 people to a room.

I have never seen so many bicycles in my life, no wonder 80,000 go missing a year. We have managed to avoid getting hit by one, Mandy game close yesterday but a nice person informed us to move by saying ding a ling a ling!

Today we went on a canal cruise, which was nice. Another enjoyable part of Amsterdam is the V.... something frites, there are Dutch french fries and very tasty!

We are off to find the flower market, which is apparently the second biggest in the world.

London

So we arrived in London! It is great we are staying at a hostel that is central so we have been able to see a lot. Today we went on a tour, on a double decker bus that took us to all the touristy places. We seen Buckingham Palace, the changing of the guards. We also went to the Queen's Gallery and seen some of the Queens prized possesions, even a beautiful crown. You know how I like most things sparkly, lol! Well we are off to Amsterdam tomorrow, will post pics soon!
